PVII Mercury: Horizontal Single Page CSS Page Builder

Mercury is a single-page Web site, a design approach that works very well for sites that would comprise three to six traditional pages of closely related content. A brochure site for an artist, entertainer, movie, author, or a typical restaurant would work very well. Landing pages for short-term promotions, offers and contests would too. On the other hand, a large site like Amazon.com would not be a good candidate.

Build Mercury sites instantly with an interface that installs inside Dreamweaver

Mercury works for both desktop and mobile device browsers. If that's not cool enough, it also looks very pretty too. But more about that later. Mercury is a CSS page building tool. That means you can create Mercury documents automatically with a neat PVII interface that is accessible from inside Dreamweaver.

Once you create your document, there is a modify interface that allows you to add page panels, remove page panels, or to change their order. The modify interface also allows you to tinker with animation speed and to set the previous and next arrows to loop or not to loop.

It's all in the details

Choose fixed width layouts or layouts that automatically adjust to the size of your visitor's browser window.

Mercury is fully navigable whether using a mouse, keyboard, pointing device, touch device, or a screen reader.

If you use your tab key to navigate and reach a link in the next page section, the system will automatically detect this and scroll that section fully into view.

Accessing a new page section will smoothly glide your window to the top, ensuring that no content is ever overlooked.

The previous and next arrows automatically display the title of the next or previous page when you hover over them.

The previous and next arrows can be set to loop or to stop at the first and last page sections.

Mobile devices are automatically detected and server special style rules to address device-specific issues.

PVII Luna: Single Page CSS Page Builder

Luna is a single-page Web site, a design approach that works very well for sites that would, in conventional terms, comprise three to six pages of closely related content. Single-page sites are becoming quite popular among Web designers—for their own sites and for client sites, as well. A brochure site for an artist, an author, or a typical restaurant, would work very well. On the other hand, the Harvard University or Library of Congress sites would not be good candidates. Luna uses modern CSS such as fixed position navigation, embedded fonts, column layout, rounded corners, CSS gradients, and shadows— and while the look is highly graphical, not a single background image is used. This makes it extremely easy for you to maintain and customize your site.

Create pages instantly

Includes fixed width and flexible width designs. The Luna user interface is accessible from the File menu inside Dreamweaver and fully automates the page-creation process. Select a layout and simply click Create!

Manage your page sections automatically

The Page Scroll Magic interface that comes with Luna enables you to add, remove, or re-order your page sections in just a few short seconds!

Learn cutting edge CSS techniques

The Luna user guide will teach you how to use these CSS 2 and CSS 3 techniques:

Font Embedding

Rounded Corners

Box Shadows

Similar in concept to jQuery Carousel, Horizontal Glider Magic sets the benchmark for quality, flexibility, features, automation, and accessibility.

Horizontal Glider Magic is a panel widget. Hidden content panels are made to glide horizontally through a viewport. Panel gliding can be operated by clicking trigger links and various other available controls or can be set to play automatically, like a slide show. Unlike generic script libraries, HGM was programmed from the ground up to do one job and do it as well as it can possibly be done.

Pop Menu Magic 2 Advanced Positioning Made Easy

The Pop Menu Magic 2 system includes some extremely powerful features that enable advance positioning of the entire horizontal menu bar or of the sub-menus.

For example, you can automatically center a menu inside the container in which the menu was inserted by simply checking the Auto Center option in the PMM2 interface. When the page loads in a browser, the PMM2 system will measure the width of your container, measure the width of your menu, then center the menu inside the container.

You can also control the alignment of the first level sub-menu relative to its trigger link. The default is Left Edge, which will align the left edge of the sub-menu to the left edge of the trigger link.

The Center All option automatically centers each sub-menu beneath its trigger link.

The Center and Justify option automatically centers each sub-menu beneath its trigger link with the exception of the first and last links. The first sub-menu left edge will align to the left edge of its trigger link and the last sub-menu will be aligned to the right edge of its trigger link.

Accordion Panel Magic: Free Update Available

Cumulative updates included: versions 1.0.4, 1.0.5, 1.0.6

version 1.0.4

Updates APM to include an optional Current Marker feature that automatically highlights links in your page's Accordion Panel components that match the address of the current page. The system also opens the content panel that contains the matching link - automatically, when the page loads.

version 1.0.5

Fixed template-based insertion when there are no editable regions in the <head> or when there is only 1 editable region on the page.

Fixed issue when another style sheet is inside the p7ap folder, and that style sheet is linked before the ap style sheet.

version 1.0.6

Fixed Mac-Leopard issue - Heading text box needs an initial value.

version 1.0.7

If content panels are set to a height and overflow is set to auto, to allow fixed height and scrolling inside panels, full animation is now permitted in all browsers except for Firefox. Firefox continues, through version 3, to have severe overflow bugs so that browser is given a special filter to disable animation when overflow on the content panel is set to auto. Previously, in such a scenario, animation was disabled for all browsers.

Important...

This Update requires that the full Accordion Panel Magic version 1.0.3, 1.0.4, or 1.0.5 is already installed on your computer. It will not work otherwise.
