Question #319

I have a Tooltip Magic (TTM) trigger applied to an image and it is not showing the hand cursor. Is there a way to have the tooltip trigger display the hand cursor?

The Answer

Normally the hand cursor would display for an actual link (<a> tag), all others would display the normal cursor. In Tooltip Magic (TTM) you can force the hand cursor display for the Tooltip trigger on any page element, here's how:

1. Open the Tooltip style sheet and locate this style rule:

.p7TTM_trg {
  cursor: default;
  text-decoration: underline;

2. Change the 'default' to 'pointer' so that it now looks like this:

.p7TTM_trg {
  cursor: pointer;
  text-decoration: underline;

3. Save and close the style sheet.

That's it, the Tooltip trigger will now display the hand cursor, even when the the trigger is not a link (<a> tag).
