I just upgraded to Pop Menu Magic 2, can I upgrade my existing PMM 1 menus to PMM 2?
There is no automatic conversion from Pop Menu Magic 1 to Pop Menu Magic 2, the underlying (x)html markup, scripts, style sheets and related assets are completely different and cannot be converted. You can continue to use existing PMM1 menus and there is really no reason to replace a functioning PMM 1 menu unless you want to take advantage of some of the newer styles and options offered by PMM2.
To replace an existing PMM1 menu -You should completely remove the menu from the page, choose Commands - Studio VII - Pop Menu Magic by PVII - Remove Pop Menu Magic Menu.... The menu and all of its related assets will be completely removed from your page. Now you can simply Insert a new Pop Menu Magic 2 menu at that insertion point.
PMM1 and PMM2 on the same page -You can add one or more PMM2 menus to a page that contains a PMM1 menu, they will work together on the same page without issue.
Pop Menu Magic 1 Page Packs -You can use the Pop Menu Magic 2 system in any of the Pop Menu magic Page Packs, either in addition to the PMM1 menu, as a replacement for the PMM1 menu, or as a replacement for the default single-level menu. To use the PMM2 menu instead of the PMM1 system or the single-level menu, simply create the Page Pack page choosing the "No Menu -Placeholder Text Only" option or choose a layout that does not include a PMM1 menu. Once the page is created, select and remove the placeholder text and then simply Insert the PMM2 menu at that location.
