Question #220

How do I set my thumbnail panel to show on page load?

The Answer

Prepared Oct. 2007 by Al Sparber, PVII

First follow the instructions in the Questions and Answers section of your Slide Show Magic user guide for how to make the thumbnail panel visible when the page loads:

Find the thumbnail icon link in Code View. It looks like this:

<a href=ʺ#ʺ title=ʺHide or Show Thumbnailsʺ id=ʺp7SSMthmbʺ>

Assign a class of down to the <a> tag so it looks like this:

<a href=ʺ#ʺ title=ʺHide or Show Thumbnailsʺ class=ʺdownʺ id=ʺp7SSMthmbʺ>

Then, to address a bug in the Safari browser, add this style rule to the bottom of your Slide Show Magic CSS (style sheet) file:

#p7ssm_thumb_wrapper {display: block;}
