This layout is ideal for a home page—a portal through which to enter your site. All three columns maintain the same height at all times, based on the height of the tallest column. The column borders and graphics are controlled by CSS background images, which are delivered in editable Fireworks files. The user guide covers the methods you can use to edit the backgrounds.
Deja Vu captures the clean and simple approach to design that has gone into our web sites for many years. As a Deja Vu owner, you can use these pages as they are or customize them to your personal design specifications.
Deja Vu comes with 5 page designs. Layouts are CSS-based, fixed-width, and centered. Pages are automatically created using the PVII Page Pack interface inside Dreamweaver. Once you create a page you can save it as a Dreamweaver template file or use server-side technology to manage repeating assets across your site.
Navigation menus are powered by the latest version of Accordion Panel Magic (required), which automatically highlights the current page link and expands the panel that contains it.
You'll learn how multi-column layouts are designed in Fireworks and how Fireworks is used to develop the CSS that makes your columns render with equal heights. It's mathematically precise yet clear and easy to understand.

Deja Vu is fully functional in all modern browsers and degrades gracefully in obsolete browsers. Deja Vu passes automated Section 508 accessibility checks, enabling integration into an accessible web site.
